The charity provide respite care for children with SEND and their families. This is a wonderful place where children with special needs can come for either the day or for short breaks. It really is a wonderful enviroment and a fantastic place to work. The post is a permanent post and the charity are looking to recruit as soon as possible.

We are looking for Play Specialists who are dedicated, reliable and confident in their ability to provide an exciting environment for the children where they feel safe and most of all have fun!

You must have a childcare qualification (minimum level 1) and you must have experience of working with and creating a fun enviroment for children.

Development Engineer / Senior Engineer

£40000 - £55000 per annum

One of the fastest growing house builders in the UK with over 20 offices across the country and more planned in quick succession have requested we find them a Development Engineer / Senior Engineer.

The main purpose of this role will be to coordinate all technical information between departments and outside contractors to ensure timely starts and continuations on site.

  • You will work with the land team on validation reports.
  • Check all designs for accuracy
  • Attend site meetings across a number of live sites to discuss and solve any technical issues that may arise during the build programme to ensure the build programme stays on track.
  • Work with the internal and external design teams to develop new products and build systems
  • Monitor all 278 works
  • Ensure all new regulations are adhered to
  • Ensure all working practices conform with HQSE policies

You will have the opportunity to develop your career at a pace to suit both yourself and the company with fast track opportunities available due to expansion and opening of new regional offices.

Ideally you will come from a house builder, an engineering sub contractor with exposure to the house building industry or similar.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

£30000 - £35000 per annum

We are working with one of the UK's fastest growing house builders to source an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to bolster their commercial team,

An excellent salary and package is on offer for the successful applicant.

Negotiate and place orders for labour and material sub-contractors, labour only contractors and material suppliers on a competitive tender basis to ensure the business output is delivered on programme and within budget.

Work alongside other departments to ensure project viability and improve cost effectiveness.

Ensure all specifications and programmes are complied with and that quality is not compromised.

Monitor invoicing procedures and resolve any issues

Calculate all the prime costs on developments within the business, reporting any movements in the costs since the preparation of the land purchase exercise

Assist in the preparation of Site Budgets

Detail a labour cost schedule including anticipated target hours.

Assist in monthly WIP and cash flow forecasting.

Monitor and explain all cost movements within the site valuation.

Have responsibility for processing all Contractor, subcontractor and consultant orders and payments, variation orders and day works.

Undertake site valuations of production at budgeted cost on a quarterly basis.

Report on savings and excesses against budget costs.
