Dispensing Assistant

My client is looking to recruit Level 1 Dispensing Assistants to join a team in Cheshire. The successful candidates will have experience of working in a busy Pharmacy and you will need to ensure that all prescribed products are picked and dispensed accurately in line with current Standard Operating Procedures.

As a Dispensing Assistant you will be expected to but not restricted too:

  • Undertake dispensing duties, under the supervision of the Pharmacy Services Team Leader, for the supply of medicinal products to homecare patients.
  • Liaise with the other Apprentice Dispensers, Dispensers, Accuracy checking technicians and Pharmacists to ensure efficient use of resources across the different dispensing sections.
  • Work closely with patient services and prescription management to ensure that patient's requirements regarding the supply of their medication are met.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by the Pharmacy services team leader.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing
  • Experience as a Dispensing Assistant
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary for these roles is £18,491 based on 37.5 hour contract. Shift times are 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm and 3:30pm-11:30pm.

Healthcare Assistant

£15752 - £18617 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a number of enthusiastic healthcare assistants to work either days or nights. It is a purpose built home that specialises in care for older people and dementia in Knutsford. You will play a vital role in supporting older people and adults with dementia.

As a Healthcare Assistant you will be responsible for but not restricted too:

  • Meet the physical, social and emotional needs of each individual service user in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.
  • Participate in developing and reviewing individual care plans for service users, this may include residents with dementia, in accordance with the Quality Standards manual.
  • Engage in social care activities with service users throughout the day (and night if appropriate), according to the care plan and as recommended by senior staff.
  • Attend and contribute to service users review meetings.
  • Answer emergency bells promptly, assess situation and take appropriate action.
  • Work effectively with others within the home to ensure that service users' needs are met.
  • Support and work closely with families and friends offering them professional and emotional support, sensitive to individual need.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience as a Healthcare Assistant
  • QCF or equivalent Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care
  • Medication Trained
  • Transferable DBS

The salary for this role is up to £18,617 which equates to £9.18 per hour. I have both days or nights available depending on your preference and 22, 33 or 39 hour contracts available.

Staff Nurse

I am currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) to work nights in a 56 bedded care home with nursing in Mobberley.

As a nurse you will be expected to:

  • Provide effective leadership in ensuring nursing standards and practices are adhered to
  • Support the Management to ensure that all nursing and care staff understand their roles and are working within the homes policies and procedures promoting excellent practice in line with CQC standards
  • Lead the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of resident care in order to achieve the highest standards of contemporary care
  • Demonstrate an ability to influence good practice and address poor performance appropriately and ensure the line manager is aware
  • Support Management in ensuring that staff regularly receive staff supervisions whether this is individually or in groups as per the homes policy
  • Support the learning and development of all staff by acting as a mentor to nursing and care staff
  • Formulate and implement nursing care plans and ensure that care is provided in accordance with the care plan
  • Assess the needs of our residents, ensuring that their care plans support and reflect their needs

The successful candidate must have:

  • Be Registered with the NMC and have an active PIN Number
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team, delegate effectively and promote excellent customer relationships

Salary for this role is £36,756.72 based on 38.5 hour night contract, £18.36 per hour.
