Staff Nurse

£31824 - £33696 per annum

Our client is looking to recruit Staff Nurses to work days or nights in a 40 bedded residential and nursing home in the beautiful countryside in Gloucestershire.

As a nurse you will be expected to:

  • Provide effective leadership in ensuring nursing standards and practices are adhered to
  • Support the Management to ensure that all nursing and care staff understand their roles and are working within the homes policies and procedures promoting excellent practice in line with CQC standards.
  • Work to NMC professional code of conduct, keeping up to date with continuous professional development (CPD) and revalidation.
  • Demonstrate an ability to influence good practice and address poor performance appropriately and ensure the line manager is aware.

Salary for this role is £31,824 - £33,696 based on 36 contract plus an additional £1 per hour at weekends. I have both a day contract and a night contract available.

Registered Mental Health Nurse

The ideal candidate will have experience of laying carbon and stainless steel pipes carrying chemicals.

Full Time Post - Maternity Cover.

I am currently working with a primary school located in Warrington who are looking to appoint a Year 3 Teacher to cover a maternity leave in January 2019. This post will run until the end of the academic year at least and could potential continue until Christmas.

My client is looking to recruit a highly motivated and forward thinking Part Time Speech and Language Therapist to work closely with the multi-disciplinary teams in Wyboston and also offer support to our homes in the surrounding area including St Neots and along the A1 corridor to North London.

As a SALT your responsibilities will be:

  • Support staff to build effective communication with the people we support.
  • Provide Total Communication training and mentoring to our teams.
  • Independently manage a caseload including people with complex mental and physical health needs.
  • Be committed to a person-centred approach Provision of therapy to individual service users focusing on specific language development and social communication.
  • Liaise with support staff so that therapy techniques and strategies can be implemented.
  • Liaise with Multi-Disciplinary team so that therapy techniques and strategies can be implemented.
  • Provide supervision to more junior staff and/or students
  • Have experience in the assessment and management of people with challenging needs

The successful candidate must have:

  • Hold a recognised Speech and Language Therapy MSc level qualification or equivalent
  • Registered member of the HCPC

  • Excellent communicator - both written and verbally
  • Excellent team member with the ability to assume leadership responsibilities
  • Experience with LD and Autism, Challenging behaviour - varied levels of functionality
  • Knowledge of the Transforming Care Agenda, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and experience in a range of communication assessments and interventions relevant to this client population is also essential.

We are currently looking for a number of Residential Support Workers for my client based in St Helens. The unit provides care to young adults between the ages of 10-18 years old. The young adults have some challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and autism.

The ideal candidate needs to be passionate about working with young adults and have a clear understanding of working with service users who have challenging behaviour.

Duties will include but not be restricted too:

  • Implementing care plans
  • Personal care tasks
  • Providing medication
  • Supporting with appointments
  • Supervising visits
  • Offering support with daily tasks & teaching life skills

You will need to have:

  • Minimum 6 months experience working with young adults
