Registered Mental Health Nurse

£19968 - £29016 per annum

Our client is looking to recruit RMNs, RGNs or RNLDs to work days or nights depending on your preference in a 55 bedded care home with nursing in Toxteth, Liverpool.

As an RMN you will be expected to:

  • Provide effective leadership in ensuring nursing standards and practices are adhered to
  • Support the Management to ensure that all nursing and care staff understand their roles and are working within the homes policies and procedures promoting excellent practice in line with CQC standards.
  • Demonstrate an ability to influence good practice and address poor performance appropriately and ensure the line manager is aware.
  • Support Management in ensuring that staff regularly receive staff supervisions whether this is individually or in groups as per the homes policy.
  • Support the learning and development of all staff by acting as a mentor to nursing and care staff.
  • Complete and carry out treatment plans
  • Assess the needs of our residents, ensuring that their care plans support and reflect their needs

The successful candidate must have:

  • Be Registered with the NMC and have an active PIN Number
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team, delegate effectively and promote excellent customer relationships

Salary for this role is £19,968 - £29,016 which equates to £15.50-£16.00 per hour based on 24-36 contract.

Electrician - Eastcote - ECS/JIB NVQ 3 with AM2 and DBS

As a Healthcare Assistant you will be responsible for but not restricted too:

  • Meet the physical, social and emotional needs of each individual service user in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.
  • Participate in developing and reviewing individual care plans for service users, this may include residents with dementia, in accordance with the Quality Standards manual.
  • Engage in social care activities with service users throughout the day (and night if appropriate), according to the care plan and as recommended by senior staff.
  • Attend and contribute to service users review meetings.

We are currently looking to recruit a Staff Nurses (RGN/RMN/RNLD), Paramedics, Phyiotherapists and Occuppational Therapists to become PIP Disability Assessors in Isle of Wight.

As a PIP Disability Assessor you will join an established team of highly skilled health care professionals. The role on offer is both challenging and rewarding; you will utilise your clinical and evidence based knowledge, highly tuned interpersonal skills and examination skills to determine how disabilities or impairments (from a range of health conditions) impact on activities of daily living. You will assess individuals who are making a claim for the Personal Independence Payment in line with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) guidelines for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP). Our initial training is highly supportive and will help you develop news skills to undertake this exciting role.

About PIP

As part of the Government's welfare reform agenda, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) have introduced a new benefit called the Personal Independence Payment (PIP). Replacing the Disability Living Allowance (DLA). PIP is designed to help towards some of the extra costs incurred when someone lives with long-term ill health or a disability by understanding the extent to which an individual's health conditions may impact on their daily life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out medical examinations and provide medical advice on capacity of work (PIP assessments).
  • Work to productivity and quality targets and respond positively to feedback.
  • Analyse and interpret clinical information/medical evidence and provide reports in a professional and concise manner.
  • Produce succinct, accurate and comprehensive reports to enable decision making and ensure all reports are of a good standard.
