Dual Registered Manager- Healthcare

£18616 - £19522 per annum

Main responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Ensure that each young person has a plan which reflects his/her care, education, social, emotional, cultural, and therapeutic and health needs.
  • To ensure that the placement plan is regularly reviewed
  • Allocate a Key Worker for each young person with the principal responsibility of implementing the childcare plan
  • Assist the manager in developing a management style which balances the need to exercise control and give direction with the need to offer staff the opportunity to contribute to decision making
  • Ensure that all new staff receive a proper induction to the home in line with Crystal Care's policy.
  • Ensure that each member of staff has a personal develop plan
  • Ensure the budgets are managed effectively and the use of all finances are properly monitored

  • Clarify expectations in relation to maintain the home in a clean and orderly condition

  • Drivers Licence is necessary
  • The post requires the holder to work on a shift pattern as part of a rota. Sleep in duties will be included, as well as working weekends and bank holidays when required.
  • The post requires the holder to always have a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service check.
  • On occasion you may be required to change your rota at a given notice as per your contract. This is to ensure the contingencies of the service are covered. This may also include covering additional shifts as emergency cover.

Residential Children's Worker

  • To promote travel, training, money management and independent life to our service users.
  • To provide personal care where required which may involve assistance with; continence requirements; Health and medication requirements; Manual handling; Eating and preparing meals; Handling personal possessions; finances and documents; entering the home, room, bathroom, toilet and shopping.
  • To promote effective communication and relationships with Service users and work colleagues and to be aware of communication differences and adopt an approach that minimises the effect of such differences.

Team Manager

The role will entail managing and leading a group of support workers and being responsible for all current and newly referred individuals, ensuring that high quality support is provided to all supported individuals.

Main responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Ensure that all services are delivered within the framework and Support core values and support all policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with external professionals, individuals and families as required to ensure that the needs of the individuals supported are reviewed regularly and plans developed so that we continue to meet their needs.
  • Ensure that appropriate person-centred support arrangements are in place for everyone supported and reviewed.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance strategies and documentations, actively promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage and support staff in line Support policies and procedures, including supervision, absence management, disciplinary and grievance issues.

Home Manager

Main responsibilities:

  • To maintain a high-quality service working in partnership with colleagues to manage services.
  • To ensure compliance with support development, training, supervision and all support policies and procedures.
