Are you a qualified Spanish Teacher/Tutor who is currently available for work?

Do you have experience of teaching Spanish to beginner/intermediate learners on a 1:1 basis?

Integra People are currently working with a handful of schools in the Warrington area, some of which require Spanish Tutors to work on an hourly basis to work 1:1 with students. These students range from Primary aged to GCSE level students and the successful applicant(s) would be able to choose their days and hours to some extent.

Responsibilities:

- Teaching Spanish to the young person/people you choose to work with.

- Planning sessions which are age and level appropriate within Spanish.

- Providing weekly feedback information to the school, showing progress.

Requirements:

- QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification.

Summary
To provide a range of operational and administrative tasks to facilitate ongoing Covid-19 mass testing of staff and students.

Contract Type
Casual/supply - hours as required by the school

Pay
£9.80 per hour

Duties and responsibilities

Dependent on the needs of the school, Operatives may fulfil all or some of the following tasks.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing needs will be required in order to ensure that the testing process is as efficient as possible.
  • Assist with the setup of the test sites on a daily basis (Mon-Fri).
  • Assist Team Leader with testing schedules.
  • Assist with orderly processing of tests and remind attendees about health and hygiene measures (social distancing, hand hygiene etc.)
  • Register staff and students for Covid-19 lateral flow tests (LFTs).
  • Provide staff and students with advice and guidance on the self-administration of the LFTs.
  • Collect completed swabs and process in accordance with procedures.
  • Prepare test samples for analysis, conduct processing of LFTs and interpret results.
  • Collect and record LFTs. Track and administer all associated documentation.
  • Input test results to digital solution.
  • Clean test bays as required and collect and dispose of clinical waste in accordance with procedures.

General Duties

  • To comply with all working procedures in respect of health and safety, data protection and safeguarding
  • To demonstrate positive personal and professional behaviour and to handle all personal data in a confidential and secure manner;

Operatives will be required to undertake initial training and induction and any additional training needed to fulfil the role. You will also be required to wear full PPE and be able to communicate effectively with children.

To be successful

Highly competent administrative skills and the ability to multitask.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a workload with competing demands

Ability to work methodically, systematically and with attention to detail. Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to put people at ease

Ability to work with tact and confidentiality and to maintain personal data in a secure and confidential manner

Essential

  • Previous experience working in a school environment
  • A full, enhanced DBS registered on the DBS update service
  • Experience of effectively working in a team and carrying out a diverse range of tasks
  • Be available for shifts from the 8th of March
