The role:
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our global client based in Warrington, Appleton Thorn. To ensure all stock is handled, stored and packing in a safe working environment.
- Monday - Friday, weekly alternative shifts of 06:00 - 15:00 & 08:00 - 17:00
- To support the Warehouse team in all day to day activities with a pro-active teamwork approach
- To manage and control stock in third party warehouses whilst keeping all associated costs to a minimum
- Performing circular saw operations as and when required and take control of stock levels for items which require this operation
- To advise on waste removal requirements and co-ordinate / assist the loading of containers for waste removal
- Advise on slow moving goods and form plan of action to control these
- Ensure that current and future Health, Safety and Environment policy is adhered to continually support the creation of a centre of excellence culture
What we're looking for:
An ideal Team Leader will be able to:
- Have 2 years' experience minimum
- Good time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Physically fit to carry / pack loads for delivery
- Good level of IT literacy
- FLT license would be advantageous although training would be provided for the right candidate
