A Mental Health Support Worker is required for a residential home in Mold
You will be responsible for the support of individuals who suffer with mental illness.
You will be working as a mental health support worker, working with people to help them develop their independence, claim appropriate benefits, and develop daily living skills. This might be through one to one support or by linking to other sources of support. You will be ensuring their care plans are followed and updated as required, ensuring accurate reports are kept. The shifts you will be doing will be a mixture of either half days or long days.
You should have previously worked with clients with mental health, and have knowledge of the Mental Capacity act and DoLS. You should hold a minimum NVQ Level 2, ideally 3 in Health and Social Care.
