Integra People are working with an Ofsted Outstanding Provider, with services across the North West, currently specialising in providing a range of services to support young people aged 10-18, who may present with complex needs.
The communities within the Liverpool area, are generic children's homes providing consistent and therapeutic environments for education. The homes are using the SPARCS methodology - Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress. This is a group intervention, delivered during school hours, that is designed to address the specific needs of traumatised adolescents, who may still be experiencing or living with ongoing stress and problems.
We are looking to recruit Therapeutic Practitioners with:
- A background of supporting young people, children and families.
- Knowledge of children's social work including child care legislation.
- Experience of supporting young people and children with emotional and behavioural difficulties is essential.
- NVQ Level 3/4 Caring for Children and Young People or recognised professional qualification in therapeutic work with young people is preferable.
This role is similar to Residential Child Care Officer's job role, but adds some therapeutic elements.
The chosen Therapeutic Practitioners will be required to work a minimum of 35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
