I am currently recruiting for the role of Business Support Manager within a fast paced private education business in the Tameside area. They have rapidly expanded over the last few years and have plans to grow even further so they are looking for the right person to join the team to help them do that.

You will be working at their Head Office and you would report into the Finance Controller on a day to day basis. You will be responsible for managing the Finance Administration and Fee Collection teams and ensuring invoices are accurate, whilst debts are kept to a minimum.

You should have proven experience of improving process and skilled at producing weekly reports that detail progress made against KPIs.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential:

  • Degree educated in accounting, business administration, finance or a similar field.
  • Minimum of two years' management experience.
  • Experience of managing in a credit control team for a multi-site company.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the debt collection process.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the Early Years Sector particularly with respect to billing and LA Grants
  • Proven record of improving processes.

Skills

Essential:

  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to input data
  • IT Literate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
