You will be responsible for:
Promoting and supporting the young people in reaching their full potential by ensuring that the life chance opportunities are met in relation to their social, educational, leisure, emotional health and mental health needs.
Liaising with family members, and external agencies .
Ensuring policies and procedures of the home are adhered to.
Participating in activities and working with the Manager to ensure smooth running of the home.
You will be:
Committed to working with young people who can sometimes present challenging behaviours.
Have knowledge and experience of working with young people and committed to providing excellent opportunities for disadvantaged groups.
Be creative and able to use own initiative,
Enthusiastic and highly motivated during challenging times.
Possess good written, IT and communications skills and be an effective communicator with various multi agency workers.
Full UK Driving Licence desirable but not essential, must be willing to use public transport to reach locating at various hours.
These positions work on a rolling rota shift pattern to include weekends and 10 sleeps a month. On call duties will be discussed at the interview stage.
