We are currently looking for an learning support officer (LSO) in the Blackpool area who is dedicated enough to make this happen.
This school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated behavioural specialist to join their team.
You will be working with specific pupil who requires specialist one-to-one support to ensure that they can confidently succeed in the work they have been set.
The child you will be working with is in year 3 has low functioning autism and requires extra support in class and around the school in social environments.
The child needs support with behaviour and communication, often getting frustrated with activities and can portray as aggressive. With the right teaching Support Officer, the child has seen great development in the past and found being in class a lot easier!
This role will entail working alongside the class teachers, SENCO and the senior leadership team.
You will be required to give feedback on the pupils' progression.
You will need experience working with pupils with behavioural difficulties and have prepared strategies that will help benefit pupils' learning journey.
You will also have strong behaviour management skills and are not fazed by challenging students.
