You will be supporting a 26 year old male who has Tetraplegia, lives with his partner and 3 young children .
You will be assisting him with his daily needs enabling to maintain full Independence. The client is prone to fainting when hoisting so this must be done with care so experience within this area is essential , he is at high risk of Autonomic dysreflexia and choking, so again experience of working with someone who suffers from this condition is essential.
You duties will include:
Assisting with all aspects of the clients daily routine, washing, dressing attending potential medical appoints.
You will be working a variety of shifts all of which are listed below so all candidates must be fully flexible
8.00 - 10.30
14.00 - 15.00
16.00 - 17.00
21.00 - 10.00
You must have:
Proof of right to work in the UK
You must hold your moving and handling, basic first aid and care certificate, or be willing to complete this
You must have enhance DBS registered on the update service or be willing to undergo one prior to commencement
