An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients in the Cambria area for a Contracts Manager
We are working with one of the North Wests established but growing Civil Engineering contractors who specialise in projects across a range of areas but mainly contract to housing companies and companies building commercial units.
Responsible for the smooth running of multiple contracts across the North West region from £100k to £2m in value but usually around £750k average.
Ensure that all work is completed on time and within its budget.
Management of a number of Site Managers and Foreman across the projects depending on size you may be directly responsible for the instillation teams.
Project delivery, to programme and budget. Including providing regular budget updates to the Managing Director and Senior Management Team.
Driving improvements where possible in any part of the delivery process.
Liaise with suppliers to drive down spend to achieve maximum discount on all costed items.
Ensure all projects are delivered without any QHSE incidents.
Liaise with Manager and guarantee sufficient resources are allocated for all projects.
Ensure all Company Policies and Procedures are followed at all times.
All orders need to be completed correctly and within sufficient times to the specification required.
Maintain daily records of progress.
Help to resolve any disputes which come up and identifying areas for improvement in the company's contracting processes.
