The role:
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our global client based in Warrington, Appleton Thorn. To ensure all stock is handled, stored and packing in a safe working environment.
- Monday - Friday, weekly alternative shifts of 06:00 - 15:00 & 08:00 - 17:00
- Pick stock as prioritised in line with despatch deadlines ensuring maximum customer satisfaction
- Replenish stock in the aisles to ensure continued picking efficiencies
- Offloading deliveries and locating in the Warehouse ensuring a high level of stock accuracy
- Checking and signing for deliveries in line with supplier documentation
- Highlighting any stock queries and shortages and updating the warehouse log with stock movements
- To support in the identification and elimination of waste in all its forms, including loading waste in the appropriate skip ready for disposal
- Ensure that current and future Health, Safety and Environment policy is adhered to continually support the creation of a centre of excellence culture
What we're looking for:
An ideal QA will be able to:
- Have 2 years' experience minimum
- Good time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Physically fit to carry / pack loads for delivery
- Good level of IT literacy
- FLT license would be advantageous although training would be provided for the right candidate
