Business Studies and IT Teacher - Warrington

Are you an experienced Business Studies Teacher who can also teach ICT and looking for a fresh opportunity or an NQT just starting your career? Would you like to work in a welcoming and engaging department? If so this could be the perfect opportunity for you! I am currently working with a school in Warrington who are looking for someone to start on a contracted basis in February to cover a maternity leave. The school are happy to take on NQT's as well as experienced teachers offering sufficient mentoring for the candidate.

Teaching Business Studies with a small amount of ICT to KS3 & 4 Pupils

Driving performance within the classroom

Ensuring targets are met and exceeded

Managing behaviour within the classroom

Communicating with parents and carers over pupils progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents evenings and whole school training events

Participating in and organising extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities and sporting events

Preparing pupils for qualifications and external examinations


* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
* Excellent organisational skills
* An ability to promote effective teaching and learning
* Enthusiasm commitment and flexibility
