Job Title: Senior Office Administrator

Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

Salary: £17,000 - £19,000

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Office Administrator to join a leading company based in Chester.


  • Answer telephone/direct calls
  • Ensure that a purchase order is created for all purchases, and fully completed with price/quantities
  • Check that any invoices received direct have a purchase order number
  • Attach relevant POD's to any invoices
  • Collate and forward all other POD's
  • Weigh in vehicles, check and complete paperwork, ensuring that relevant information is on both w/bridge ticket and supplier paperwork
  • Enter details on the Deliveries Book
  • Enter all timber tickets on the Day Book
  • Complete month end totals
  • Complete 'Totals' analysis sheet in Deliveries Book
  • Assist with general paperwork (data inputting/delivery notes, filing etc as needed)
  • Book In deliveries as/when needed
  • Assist with logistics (suppliers/customers)
  • Collate and post all tickets and relevant paperwork to other office each day (unless someone is on site to collect this)
  • Liaise with other members of staff/suppliers/customers as/when necessary

What you need:

  • Availability to start immediately
  • Be a strong team player with a keen eye for detail
  • Proven experience as an administrator
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Packages and Sage 50
  • A flexible approach to work
